    Well that explains why my old hotmail address suddenly starting spamming everyone I know a few days ago.

    I wonder how they got hacked in the first place. I can be fairly sure that I wasn't phished, because I'm fairly vigilant about that sort of thing. Besides, I haven't used my hotmail address for anything other than logging into messenger for years.

    several of my friends have had the same thing happen to their yahoo accounts within the last couple of weeks.

    The list can still be found from google's cache. Most of them can still be logged in. Why didn't hotmail suspend those accounts with leaked password?

    Just be glad you're not using Yahoo Mail, it's so easy to hack it's not even funny.

    Wow. Then every one should build his own mail server? But it would be even more insecure if lacking knowledge of how to manage the server...

    I bet a sizable chunk of these clowns put their address/password into one of the many block-checking scam websites.

    how do you search through google's cache? I'll be interested to see if my hotmail account is in the list
