9.04 does not detect PCIe devices on ML150 G2
I'm trying to install Jaunty x86 on an ML150 (G2) with dual Xeon CPUs and I do not seem to be able to see the PCIe devices. One of them is an integrated BCM5721.
I first noticed this because the install failed to find a network device. I then started a shell and ran 'lspci'
00:02.0 PCI Bridge: Intel Corporation E7525/E7520/E7320 PCI Express Port A
00:03.0 PCI Bridge: Intel Corporation E7525/E7520/E7320 PCI Express Port A1
I believe that the ML150 has the E7320.
Another item possibly of note is that I have a x8 PCIe card installed as well. This card has a flashing light on it to indicate that the PCIe link has been established.
I don't really have any ideas for where to go with this...
Re: 9.04 does not detect PCIe devices on ML150 G2
Thought I'd update on my progress. It seems if I take the PCIe card out the NIC is detected on boot. Stranger behavior is that if I disable port A the NIC is on port A1 and if I disable port A1 the NIC is on port A. By default the NIC is on port A1. I don't see any BIOS updates out there so it looke like I need to figure out if this is a "feature" of the E7320.
Either way it doesn't appear to be an issue with Ubuntu at this point.
