    Looking for a tool to increase virtual resolution of screen and/or window

    I am on a netbook doing nomachine to home computer. I'd like to
    "scale" it somehow so that it thinks the display is larger than it really is and just draws everything smaller.

    I think this would be easier to do somehow on the local X side.
