    Flash in Swiftfox

I seem to have a problem with Flash 10 working in Swiftfox. It works partly in Firefox and Epiphany, and works properly in Opera and Chrome.

With Swiftfox I just get a blank space where the screen should be. With Firefox and Epiphany, You Tube videos play OK, but others just do not load, whilst they work perfectly with Opera and Chrome.

I know the obvious answer is to use Chrome or Opera as my web browser, but I rather like Swiftfox.

I am not actually sure how to help you, but I do not want to leave you hanging. Please tell me the methods you used to install Swiftfox and Flash.

Flash and Swiftfox were added using Synaptic. I did get a message saying that Flash needed a newer version, but when I uploaded it from the Flash site, I got an error message in Synaptic saying that a newer version was all ready installed.

    Re: Flash in Swiftfox

I have found a few tips that may work.

    1. Is javascript enabled?
    2. A flash test page is HERE.
    3. Try reinstalling flash with this command:
    4. Code:
      sudo update-flashplugin

If none of this works we can try to install it manually perhaps.
