How do I setup a VPN connection in Ubuntu 9.04? Not a server, a connection.

    Hello

Theres a lot of Vpn types so what you are trying to do would require you to know what kind of protocols you are using to connect.

You can use the VPN in the network manager to define your connection, however,
I use VPNC and the KVPNC front end gui, they are available in synaptic.,
If you are using this in a campus or work setting, the network admin should give you the info (or if your really lucky, a file , like a cisco pcf file) to get you connected.

    Cheers
