Logitech Webcam Pro 9000

I am currently running 9.04 on a Dell Vostro 1500 and I am having trouble getting my Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 to work in Skype. I have looked at other threads and have not been able to get anything to work yet. Please help.

I have been having issues with this camera too. I'm not a skype user, but I cant record sounds through its microphone using gnome sound-recorder or audacity. Says it cant open the ALSA device.

I have the same webcam and use the mike on it now, preferring it to the built in mike on my System76 laptop. I guess the easiest way is to show how it works for me is with a screen shot. (Assuming it works)
