Hi,
I have problems managing my printers due to the fact that the printer configuration module in System Settings is not available/badly configured. See attachment for the exact error.
Using cups via localhost:631 does allow me to install some printers, but I cannot seem to remove others and correctly set the default one, so this is not a perfect workaround.
I guess the error is due to cruft from an old opensuse install, but cleaning out my homedir configuration files (searched for dates predating my kubuntu install) did not resolve the problem.
Any help/pointers appreciated.
