    Question: What if drama *did* ensue?

    Ok, so I was re-reading the guidance at the top of this discussion area and took note that is says, in part "any topic or discussion that causes ... drama" and I thought to myself,

    "Self," I thought (and I often have interpersonal conversations which start off in this fashion), "what if a thread caused a drama? And if a thread caused a drama, what kind of a drama would it cause?"

    So then I thought, "Well, self," I responded politely, "it could cause Classical Shakespearian drama, or it could cause a great Greek Drama. But even worse, it might cause some kind of modern drama."

    "So how bad could bad actually be?" I think inquired of myself.

    "Why not post a thread about it and see?" I responded.

    Hence this thread. Let me start off...

    "To be, or not to be a Linux user, that is the question..."
    Have you ever found something in the second-to-last place you looked?
    If it seems like I am ignoring you, perhaps I am.

    I like turtles. AND ANYONE WHO DISLIKES TURTLES IS UGLY AND STUPID! Also, everyone is always wrong except me.

    Which makes it tedious"

    To be, or not to be a Linux User: that is the question:
    Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
    The slings and arrows of outrageous Operating Systems,
    Or to take arms against a sea of Kernel Modules,
    And by opposing end them? To hibernate: to sleep;
    No more; and by a sleep to say we end
    The heart-ache and the thousand natural reboots
    That kernel update is heir to, 'tis a consummation
    Devoutly to be wish'd. To hibernate, to sleep;
    To sleep: perchance to save battery: ay, there's the rub;
    For in that sleep of suspend what batteries may come
    When we have shuffled off this electric cord,
    Must give us pause: there's the power
    That makes calamity of so long battery life;
    For who would bear the crashes and viruses of Windows,
    The oppressor's antivirus, the proud man's secure,
    The pangs of despised compatability, the law's of business day,
    The insolence of office and the spurns
    That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
    When he himself might his docx document make
    With a bare install? who would .deb packages bear,
    To grunt and sweat under an incompatible chipset,
    But that the dread of something after hard drive failure,
    The undiscover'd rootkit from whose bourn
    No traveller returns, puzzles the will
    And makes us rather bear those ills we have
    Than fly to others that we know not of?
    Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
    And thus the native hue of resolution
    Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
    And enterprises of great pith and moment
    With this regard their currents turn awry,
    And lose the name of action. - Soft you now!
