Pidgin 2.6.2 cant add any msn contacts !!

I updated my pidgin from 2.6.1 to 2.6.2 through the getdeb.com packages, in this new version I got this message when I try to add any msn contacts:
(Unable to Add

Unable to add the buddy ******@hotmail.com because the username is invalid. Usernames must be a valid email address)

This username is valid
I tried to my other email but the same message appear
I have tried to odd other valid msn contacts but the same results

Is there a way to fix this ?
