Question IS Skype and microsoft's LifeChat LX-3000 supported by Ubuntu?

Considering getting a Eee PC 900a and loading Ubuntu (eeebuntu) onto it, I intend to use it for web browsing and placing Skype calls. From what I can see Skype has a Linux version of there software, so that should not be a problem. Anyone out there running Skype?

I am more concerned about my headset, can anyone tell me if the LifeChat LX-3000 is supported by Ubuntu? I would really like to run Ubuntu, but not if I can't use my USB headset.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

    skype works for me
intall the medibuntu repos from this,
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu

from there installing skype is an easy command form the program terminal (under applications)

    Code:
    sudo apt-get install skype
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
