    gtk-recordMyDesktop audio

    Hi,

I really need help with this as I've been battling with this issue for a couple of days already and all the existing help and documentation has not assisted me.

My issue is very simple: I'd like to record a powerpoint presentation - with sound - as a video using recordMyDesktop. The video is captured yet I don't have sound in any of the recordings. The sound I want to record is not from a mic but just an mp3 being played on the presentation on my machine.

I have already changed the sound device in recordMyDesktop Advanced->Sound->Device to hw:0,0, hw:NVidia,0 and default for different recordings and also in Volume Control: HDA NVidia (Alsa mixer) (by clicking on the speaker icon in the tray) turned up the Digital volume in the Recording tab yet this doesn't solve the issue.

What must I do to get this working?

    Any help much appreciated.
