I havent found the answer I need in the search without finding thousands of posts on getting games running or installing nVidia graphics card help, so I decided to make this post.
I am just installed the 64bit Ubuntu 9.04 yesterday. I remember when I had my older computer with different linux (kubuntu, Xandros, and Suse) OS I had to install the graphics driver (for my PCI card) and it took FOREVER to get working. I could never get my glxgears to run well. However, now that I built a new computer I do not have an actual graphics card, it is built in with the motherboard and it shares memory with the computer (8GB).
My question is, do I need to install a graphic card driver for this or is there something else I should be doing? I know in windows it wouldnt let me install a driver because all of the settings were built in.
My motherboard is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131323
Thanks to whoever cah help.
**EDIT** it says at the top of the thread Kubuntu...but its really Ubuntu. Sorry, hit the wrong button.
