At this time leave all the setting as shown (Default) and click on Finished.
You will be taken back to the main interface and the image will look like its of low contrast.

Before moving on click on “Save Hdr as...”

Give the file a name (don't forget to put .hdr on the end) and click save.

And the Tonemap wizard will appear.

    Tonemap wizard

Click on ether the drop down box or the tab (depending on version and os) and select “Mantiuk”,
Leave all settings at default except for size and pick on “1024X768” and click on “Apply”.

After a wait (length depends on pc specs) the tone map image will be generated using the “Mantiuk” routine.
Click on “ Save as ...”, name the file (don't forget to put the .jpg on the end).
Then click on “Exit” to close the Tonemap Wizard then click on “Exit” to close QTPFSGUI.

Sit back and give yourself a pat on the back for creating your first HDR image from a jpg.
