Philippine Team Karmic Koala Release Party

Karmic Koala will be released next month, unless something big interferes. Last April, we had a successful Jaunty Release Party. Big thanks to johanntagle who hosted the event.


CURRENT STATUS:
Date: November 6, Friday
Time: 6pm onwards (9pm?)
Venue: Unit 502 Orient Square Building (link to map)
Program: I'm thinking of presenting the release notes, discussing different Ubuntu flavors (DEs), discussing how we manage to do away with proprietary operating systems, and planning future activities of the LoCo team. What can you propose?

Some people to look for the venue. Some to create the program for the event.

I can help think of the program. I remember bringing an LCD projector last time that we didn't use. I don't want to waste resources anymore. lol

As for the date, it should be near to Oct 20. Probably, later than that date. It's still too early to tell now because a lot is still happening to Karmic's development. We'll see.
