Table 1 - Children Re-Entering Care
But, that's not how we do tables. Trying to introduce a new table style AND a new tool is going to make my life more complicated than necessary. I'd like to get the company to start using R (other than myslf) and I think this could work, if I can figure out this table limitation.
Ideas are appreciated.
So I've been playing around with odfWeave now that I got the XML package to compile. The answer to your question is fairly simple, but not at all obvious from reading the ?odfTableCaption help. Just add the caption code BEFORE the table, and the caption will be printed above the table.
Code:
<<Table1,echo=FALSE,results=xml>>=
odfTableCaption("A table of numbers")
odfTable(data.frame(c(1:3)))
