Hello!

Maybe this question should not be posted in this category, or even at this forum at all. Ignore/remove it if that is the case.

I would like to know if there's anything working exactly at the Windows Home Servers Drive Extender (server-side) in the Linux/Ubuntu-world?

What it does is it creates a pool of storage using all attached hard drives, and it's possible to mirror data on a per-folder basis. You can also remove/add disks to the pool without affecting the data on the pool.

It would be great if there were a free alternative for this!!

Thanks in advance!
