Empathy doesnt show contacts!

I logged into empathy today and no contacts show at all. It says its online, but theres nothing in the contact list. I logged into pidgin to check and there were alot of people on MSN.

My account is active in the 'accounts' section of empathy options, and the settings are correct. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling empathy but I still get the same thing.

Its a bit wierd :S

Any ideas?

I tried Empathy today and although I could add accounts it greyed out add contacts. I went back to Pidgin for now.

Thats a shame. Yet isnt empathy supposed to replace pidgin? Not looking good if it cant show/greys out contacts.

So they say but I'd think pidgin will still be in the repositories and empathy will be a newer version than we see in 9.04.

Install a package called something like telepathy-mission-control.
