    How to install ereg php extension in Ubuntu server

    Hello,
    I am configuring Open Atrium (Drupal) on Ubuntu server and need the ereg php extension to be installed. However, I couldn't find any information about how to install (and where to download from) the ereg extension. Can anyone help me with this?

    ereg is a function within PHP, part of the POSIX regex extension which should be installed by default
