    what is the %u option in menu?

    just from curiosity...
    i see many programs use this, for example:

    what is this option do?

    When you right-click a file and choose the "Open with another application" option, I think it replaces the %u with the file name. Not sure about it.

    Possibly, because I opened totem with that option, it was looking for a file, that did not exist.

    Here you go.
    u means url, f = file, d = directory, capitals means mulptiple of those. See the link for more.
