Let me just start off by saying that I am a complete noob when it comes to Linux. Anyway, I'm running Ubuntu 8.04, with Firefox, and I'm having trouble getting the flash to work correctly. It loads some videos just fine (porn), but when I try to watch TV shows on surfthechannel, the link that usually says "click to go to host website" doesn't work at all. When I click on it, nothing happens. When the page loads, there is like a play button over the link, and when I click that, I can see the link, but clicking on the link does nothing. Also, I play on a flash poker site, pitbullpoker, and that won't load either. The game loads in the window completely, at which point it should go to a different screen that shows a list of tables and such, but it just gets to 100% on the progress bar and then does nothing. When I right clicked and went to properties, it said that all of the files were loaded ( for the game ) except for 3 .xml files. I'm really getting frustrated here. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the flash plug-in according to some instructions I found on another forum, but that did not fix the problem. Any ideas?
