Tor: How can I bind to 127.0.0.1:9050? It says that the address already in use

"Aug 17 22:10:45.730 [Warning] Could not bind to 127.0.0.1:9050: Address already in use. Is Tor already running?"

    No, tor is not running

When I downloaded it for the first time, it worked smoothly. The problems appeared the day after.

    Any tips?

    thx

k, ignore the previous post, the problem seems to happen because I have installed both vidalia and the firefox tor button, please confirm

For those who have had both pieces of software installed: Which one would you recommend to uninstall?

    Thx

Vidalia is set *Relay Port 9001, *Directory Port 9030 and *Control Port 9051 and I am getting the same message you folks are getting. Since Vidalia ISN'T USING 9050, why does it care what's happening on that port?
