    Your experience with Xmarks

    Hello

Before I'm going to install the bookmark add-on Xmarks in Firefox I'd like to ask about your experience with this add-on and its reliability.

    Thanks for your comments.

It rocks. I use it between all of my firefox installs. I only wish it had Opera support, because I like Opera better. It is very reliable.

Have a look at febe as well, which makes backups of a lot else as well, and is completely configurable to do whatever you want of it.

Or if you are wanting to use your settings over multiple computers look at Add-on Collector. Even though this is not automatic after setting up a account backing up your Add-ons is done with a couple of mouse clicks per Add-on.

Xmarks is a great timesaver, especially if you mess up your install often(like I do) and have a whole lot of bookmarks and passwords.

FEBE and Xmarks are two add-ons I'd recommend, though I'm currently trying out Mozilla Weave, and so far it's been just great.
