Just now and it works on my pclinux version, (I have Intel GFX on my laptop so gfx sucks big time on ubuntu so I use pclinux now instead )

seems like a new skin for the UI and some extra sounds for aliens

Maybe a bit faster too, but not sure

Uses the XreaL engine, so much better graphics than the ioquake3 engine. Unfortunately not as stable or bug-free, but the group is developing fixes quite rapidly.
