Well...A million isn't really that much money anymore. That's why there are so many huge lotteries (in the US, most lottery winnings are taken as tax. Meanwhile in Canada, we get to keep all of it) and people buying tickets for them.
A million would pay off all our bills and we could travel a few places, but we still would not be able to retire or anything.
Now if you were talking about $40 million...
