I can't cite my source, but I've read that people who work/play with their towers on their desk have a much higher incidence of brain cancer. Which can't bode well for those of us whose towers are under our desks...

that's the longest i'll keep it on for, i always turn it off whenever possible, lol i don't think i could leave it on for 2 days i think it would fall to pieces. i left it on last night because i wanted to listen to bellcoreradio.

Thats great...I didn't know that command. My uptime was 7 days. I was expecting much more because I never turn my computer off. I figure whats the point of a high speed connection if I have to wait 2 minutes for the thing to turn on. Now the room seems to quite without the hum of the fan and Ubuntu on the screen .
