transfer html bookmarks to xbel for Midori

I'm using Midori more as it's way faster, but bookmark management is left wanting. As far as I can tell, Firefox exports bookmarks as html, and midori manages them as xbel. So, if I can convert the html file to xbel, then re-name it the same as the midori bookmark file and overwite it, I'll have my firefox bookmarks in Midori.

What I don't know is how to convert it and where the xbel file is.

You can convert Firefoxs bookmarks online to XBEL or one can use a feature of the SyncPlaces add-on.

As to where Midori stores thse files, I don't know but they should be easy to find, look for a hidden folder or files for Midori in your home directory.

The plugin worked, the file was under /home/me/.config.

Now I just wait for midori to develop bookmark management and I can delete firefox.
