Firefox locks up solid with Parachat

Hi folks,

I'm trying to use a Parachat site - chattcafe.blogspot.com... running Ubuntu 8.04.3LTS and current Sun Java, Firefox 3.0.12...

And after attempting to log into the Parachat embedded client - it locks up Firefox solidly..

I have to select Force Quit on Firefox...


What gives?

Try opening firefox in a terminal (just type 'firefox') and make it lock up the way you have described. Sometimes you'll get some error messages that can be helpful in figuring out what's going on.
