I installed Global Menu, the Mac-like panel where the File, edit...of a window is moved to the panel. Then I switched back to Ubuntu's default with Applications, Places, System, but the file, edit...is not showing in windows.

How did you switch back from Global Menu to the default? Did you right-click and remove it from the panel or uninstall Global Menu?

i uninstalled everything there, it's all fixed now
