Might be a silly question, but how are you getting the weather stuff and the "clean, folders, stuff" things at the top?
Are they panels that are set to a small width?

Yup! got it in one. The "clean,folders,stuff" is the activity bar plasmoid.

Much better that having to use that slow as hell ZUI.

i included them in my used icon theme (area43) and replaced other icons too

Earlier, I was running Openbox in Gnome and someone suggested I go to Openbox standalone. I did for a while, but now I'm using evilwm. I'm not showing it here but I'm using a couple cli apps as well.

Wallpaper from Vladstudio, GTK is a modified version of the Dark Elementary theme from Gnome-look. Icons are Oxygen.

Lastly, there's the obligatory screenshot of evilwm and the Overglossed GTK theme.

i like evilwm. i found it a lot more fun when using xbindkeys and gmrun with it. are you using either of those?

Not yet, I may use xbindkeys to run a menu sometime. For now I'm OK running things from the terminal, and I'm not using it full-time.

I am really enjoying it, the only thing is that I tend to lose track of which apps are open on which workspaces. Is there any kind of a panel that does this? Apparently Tint2 doesn't recognize evilwm workspaces. This is all I'd want.
