Ringi, I reinstalled KDE and tried the solution in that bug report and it worked.

KDE 4.3 is not my cup of tea. It's too chunky and slow, not to mention resource-intensive.
I personally don't like it.

Yep. I had to log out because one of my cpu's locked up.

Just installed KDE 4.3 couple of days ago, but I've been busy with other things. So, I haven't had time for tinkering, but here are my two activities at the moment..

Re: KDE...I installed it, and I like it too!!! I'll convert when I can get Conky to work on it, because the plasmoids are just a little too much for me

I need to slim the system down a bit, too, and learn how to customise it a bit, all the screenies are a little too samey-samey for now! I'll post a screenie when I can. In the meantime, I'm working on a Conky to make KDE users drool...Here it is so far:
