May I suggest using blur, if you're going to lower the opacity of windows like that.

I actually am using blur, but I think you are referring to Alpha Blur? But yeah sometimes that makes for better clarity. Doesn't bother me much, though. Haha.

Okay Tipped OuT, I tried KDE 4.3 on my desktop and it fares much better than on my laptop.
It still feels awkward to me. I miss the KISS style of GNOME too much to want to stay with it.
It looks beautiful but I'm finding lots of little graphical glitches.
