sudo problem

Hi

I have recognized two annoying problems installing Xubuntu 9.0.4 on my PS3:

1) sudo doesn't work (my account ins 'not in sudoers list' ....) - why not and how can it be fixed. System useless without sudo.

2) My Logitech Bluetooth USB dongle looses connection just before login screen. Remedy: to remove Bluetooth dongle at boot-up and insert it when login screen appears. Anyone have a better fix?

1. Start in recovery mode. select root. type usermod -a -G admin loginName. then exit and resume normal boot
