Yeah, I was surprised and kind of delighted to see Tux on a cereal box at Fresh & Easy. I took two pictures with my cell phone.

At the time, I just figured it was GDFL or something so commercial use was okay. But it's clear from this thread that this is BY-NC-SA which does not permit using the work to advertise for another product (the cereal). Unless, of course, prior permission has been obtained from the author that goes around the license. Has anyone notified the author yet?

I'd hate to see Tux go from my favorite store.

But it's not good for a community artist to be ripped off.

I think I'll have to buy a box now as a souvenir.
