Help with Ekiga

Need help with Ekiga and Ubuntu 9.04. Sorry if this is the wrong post forum gods.

I cannot get the darn thing to register my free SIP account. I created an account, and have unblocked this IP from all ports (DMZ set to my local IP) but I cannot seem to do anything. I keep getting the error message, "could not register sipxxxx@ekiga.net.

Can I get someone to do a quick port scan on me to debug if it is my Linksys? Just scan http://www.arhere.com. Any advice on how to get the thing working would be great. I am leaving for Texas on contract in two days and want to be able to chat over the internet with my girls.

Also, if there is an easier video chat that works well let me know.

BUMP: no one?

I have tested it on another network, and still cannot connect. Going to try connecting PC directly to cable modem just to be sure.
