Help. I continue trying to troubleshoot my internet connection. I am using att u-verse with a gateway, and LAN. Whenever I try to use the info (5.1.1 - Get info about currrent connection) and type in and enter anything, I get a message to insert my password. Problem is, you cannot type anything in, it will not accept it!


If I can get around this issue, I can probably continue on. If it will not allow me to put in the password, which I don't know what password it is referring to, how will I ever get anywhere?

if this is in terminal then it wants the password you use to login and yes it is typing it just doesnt show any characters.
