    Is it possible to use wine to run steam and tf2?

    Do you have an ATI card or a NVIDIA card? Wine can run windows app but it depends on what kind of card you have.

    Make sure that your graphics card is correctly setup with the relevant drivers - then have a read of my posts on this thread. I play TF2 daily

    Ok, thankyou for the link, i am only considering switching my main desktop to ubuntu because the files seem to have coruppted or something and its extremely unstable and the main game that i play is TF2.

    I have a Radeon 9800XT.

    Is it better to use the free wine or to buy a license for wine?
