    Weather Applet Suddenly Not Updating

Is anyone aware if the web site that updates weather applet data has changed? Suddenly, I can't get my XFCE weather applet to work. I went through Synaptic and downloaded a bunch of weather-related files, but nothing changed. If you've solved this one, please advise, and thanks!

I love the smell of Ubuntu in the morning!

    From http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/pan...eather-plugin:

The folks at weather.com have upgraded their platform in July 2009 to make the API key mandatory. It wasn’t required previously (apart in writing), and the Weather plugin didn’t implement that before 0.6.3. You’ll need version 0.6.3 or more recent to make the Weather plugin work again.
I uninstalled the old version and then downloaded and installed the newer version . . . I think that's all you can do until it's updated in the Ubuntu repos.

The Karmic version works fine in Jaunty.
