Question Keeping up with Linux/FOSS Conferences

Although I'm a web developer, I've only NOW started to use a feed reader - liferea - for all my news updates. Previously I would, on my own time, check out different websites for updates, often missing some pretty critical or interesting updates in the Linux world.

But now I'm using Liferea and I feel sane.

What has recently frustrated me though, is how I didn't know about Gran Canaria Desktop Summit (July 3rd to 11th, 2009) or Linux Symposium 2009 (July 13th to 17th, 2009), especially that Linux Symposium is only a 6 hour drive from where I live...

So I'm asking everyone: Is there any RSS/Atom feed for Linux/FOSS conferences that I should know about? Linux Symposium allowed you to purchase a ticket in March and I didn't know about it until it started yesterday, so this would be really useful.

fossevents.org was newly started, and may be useful in the near future.
