Change location of notifications? [Jaunty]

Sorry for the stupid question, but here goes. Where's the option to change where the notifications show up in Ubuntu 9.04?

I ask because they currently show up on my other monitor, which isn't always where I can see it, and I can't find anything in the menus.

In principle, you can change the position of the notifications by running notification-properties. I say in principle because any settings there have never made a difference for me.
