    Totem Player doesnt track well!

sometimes ill be watching a video (i use Totem) and i will have to rewind or fast forward a little bit (to a specific second in the playback) but it seems that totem never goes to that specific location when i unclick the mouse.. it jumps to what seems to be a standard deviation in the progress of the video..

how do i correct this? its really annoying when i have to watch extra video or cant seek to a specific time in the video..

I definitely know what you're talking about. Although I think most video players do this for some reason, I think you might be happier using VLC. Even if VLC does the same thing, it has other benefits such as it can play almost anything you throw at it, even DVDs and streams over the internet.

    Code:
Applications -> Add/Remove -> Show: All Available Applications -> Search: vlc
