How would I install this theme?

I don't have emerald yet, so.. yeah.

I don't wanna try to get it and do something wrong.

So if somebody could write me a step by step tutorial it would be good.

First you need to have emerald installed
    Code:
    sudo apt-get intall emerald
Download the file and save it. Open emerald-theme-manager and click import. Navigate to the file and click open. You will then see it in emerald-theme-manager, Click and your done.

If it doesn't change your theme you may need to start emerald..
    Code:
    emerald --replace

In your home directory is always a good choice. I actually created a folder just for themes and such.

There isn't one. Your theme should change when you click on the theme preview. If it doesn't then try starting emerald with the command I gave earlier.

    In Terminal type
    Code:
    emerald --replace
By the way, you also need to have compositing enabled. Do you have Compiz-fusion installed and working?

Do you have fusion-icon installed? If not, install it with
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install fusion-icon
then hit F2 and type in fusion-icon.

It will show up in the system tray. You can right-click the icon and get a menu, then click on Select Window Decorator and choose Emerald.
