    Seperate streaming video from browser?

Im just curious if anyone knows of an app or a firefox addon that will take streaming video out of the browser so u can watch it while continuing to surf other sites. I know i could always just open another window but thats to cluttered for me. Any ideas?

not to open it through another program. more of like a pop up window or something along that line.

There is another way, go to Edit-Preferences-Programs (in firefox, look for similar options in konqueror or whatever browser you use); there you can specify what to do with video files; just select the application you want to use.
