Need help with theme installation

I just downloaded the file 44063-cleangreen.cgwdtheme, which is a bin file. How do I install this as a theme?

most likely go into terminal, navigate to where it is and:

chmod +x 44063-cleangreen.cgwdtheme.bin
./44063-cleangreen.cgwdtheme.bin

Just make sure you trust the source.

And I'm not having any luck installing from the Appearance Preferences menu. I downloaded this from gnome-look.org so I'm not sure if I need anything else to install.

Crikey, that must be old. CGWD's been Emerald for quite some time now. Generally it's just a case of dragging and dropping onto the Emerald Theme Manager window. There's an outside chance you'll need to change the extension to .emerald.
