Have yet to get a notice to update.
So I manually downloaded 3.5 thru the repos and it still shows as being 3.0.11!
Any ideas?

UP THE IRONS!
It's listed as Shiretoko. Firefox is still 3.0.11
Still a Beta under Ubuntu.Didn't realize that as its an official release under all other OSs including most Linux distros for almost two weeks.Ubuntu repos usually follow suit pretty quickly.
UP THE IRONS!
It's no longer beta in Jaunty repos.
If you enable the proposed repos you'll get the release. However in Jaunty i think they'll coexist. Karmic will have 3.5 as default.
Until yesterday the package in repos was listed as beta 4. Today this was no longer the case. Help -> Release Notes also points to 3.5, not 3.5beta4. If the version in repos is still beta, they're going out of their way to conceal the fact.
It's not Beta. It's final release. The Shiretoko just means it's an unlicensed version, provided by the universe repositories, not the official one maintained by Canonical.
BTW...
The 4 most popular methods of installation of Firefox 3.5 (Psychocats, Ubuntuzilla, Repository, Shiretoko/Swiftfox) are available in the "Install Other Versions" section of the Firefox optimization and troubleshooting thread.
There is also a detailed explanation of each installation method provided, comparing the most important differences. I personally tested all of them and they work like a charm, but I recommend methods 1 (Psychocats) and 2 (Ubuntuzilla).
Easiest way to install firefox-3.5!
