    Hi deadspider187,

Sounds like a proximity or threshold problem. Evtouch may allow adjustment of those but I don't know what the syntax would be. Try "man evtouch" or see if there's a readme.

Basically I think the problem is you are not using the linuxwacom drivers for Kharmic. Rafi recommends applying his n-trig.patch to linuxwacom when using kernels 2.6.29 and up. I think Kharmic has 0.8.3-2, correct. So see post #155 here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...038898&page=16

There doesn't appear to be any settings like that for evdev, and evtouch doesn't seem to have any documentation, and I couldn't find anything online for it.

What would the configuration be for evdev if I had a mouse that had the left-mouse button held down? Is there a workaround for that? That might work for this.

From what I read on x.org's mailing list (the URL escapes me), evdev will be the future xorg driver for hid_ntrig. So I think getting this to work with evdev will be useful for everyone when Karmic comes in.

    Hi deadspider187,

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. It's disappointing that there is no documentation for evtouch. What I can do is point you to the LWP's HOWTO so you can at least see how it works with linuxwacom: http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/main See Sections 5.1 and 9.

It would be great if you could cite a link for plans to make evdev (evtouch?) the future n-trig driver. I think Ayuthia and Rafi and others are thinking they may have to fork LWP.

Edit: Here's a couple evtouch links, the first has some installation info.
