    Hello,

I want to move from Opensuse 11.0 to Ubuntu 9.0.4.
    I donwloaded Ubuntu 9.0.4 64 bit version.
It was downloaded as rar file.
I then unrar it and burnt it in cd.
Its not bootable. And it got .exe file which helps to execute in windows machine.

Can anybody please tell me how to get bootable Ubuntu 9.0.4 64 bit.
I dont have old versions of Ubuntu 64 bit.
    My processor is 64 bit.

    Can anybody help me.

You need to download as an iso and burn the download as an iso.

Did you get it from ubuntu.com ?

I didn't think you could download it with a .rar extension, are you sure you have the proper image ?
