Lightbulb Do you set your Firefox 3.5 geo.enabled Location-Aware Browsing to true or false?

How do I turn off Location-Aware Browsing permanently?

Location-Aware Browsing is always opt-in in Firefox 3.5. No location information is ever sent without your permission. If you wish to disable the feature completely, please follow this set of steps:

    • In the URL bar, type about:config
    • Type geo.enabled
    • Double click on the geo.enabled preference
    • Location-Aware Browsing is now disabled

Got it at default atm, but I am going to change that as soon as I get back to my own computer.

No, because I'm not in Glasgow.

Question Re: Do you set your Firefox 3.5 geo.enabled Location-Aware Browsing to true or false?

This appears to be set in cookies, because after I set to false, I next went to Google and Google still showed the same geo as before I set to false. Yet another reason for disabling cookies completely.
