will ubuntu upgreade to 3.5 for intrepid?

firefox 3.5 has been released. My i know whether ubuntu will include FF3.5 in there update for 9.04 or will have to wait until 9.10. firefox does not produce ubuntu packages. so i can use this only if ubuntu make an upgrade. I am not new to ubuntu but not an experienced linux user

Once an Ubuntu release is out, the devs do not usually update software packages to completely new versions (for stability). There are other ways to install firefox 3.5 on your Ubuntu installation. Search on this site or google for "firefox 3.5 ubuntu 9.04" and you will find several helpful guides.

Click the backports link below.

9.04 already has 3.5 beta4 in synaptic. An update is imminent as 3.5 is available from the proposed repo's.
