Hi
I have a rtl8187b wireless card in my laptop. I installed Ubuntu Jaunty and the wireless works perfectly but my cpu usage is always around 50% due to problems with my intel graphics card. I tried following the workaround for intel graphics given in this link
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1130582
but it did not solve my problems with high cpu usage which was heating my laptop.
I have now downgraded to hardy heron and my cpu usage is normal but my wireless does not work. I followed this link to get my wireless working
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...ealtekRTL8187b
It helped but I still cannot connect to wpa and sometimes network manager crashes when I connect to different networks (at work). I was wondering if there was any way by which I could install the wireless drivers of jaunty in hardy.
Thanks
