    Grub error 21

    I just installed Linux on my external HD, leaving my computer's HD with XP on it. I was hoping that when I removed the external, the computer would just boot into XP as normal, but instead it gives me Grub error 21, and will only boot into anything if the external is connected.

    Solution?

    grub is installed in the mbr on your xp hdd. Good info on grub here:
